Clara song writes with the heart of a wandering sea farer , a  log cabin mountain woman and sometimes an activist. She also likes to think of herself as a song catcher, and often writes songs that are whisperings carried on the wind.  She has learnt that not all songs are sung by their makers and these are the songs of the unspoken, the stories  that have been locked away in others hearts, closets and tightly sealed bottles thrown to the sea.  Some songs heal and others ignite passion, some songs will save the world, break your heart or raise the dead from their sleep.. There is a realness present in her songs, and an honesty in her voice chiseled from experience. Her sound is mostly Americana with good amounts of island shanty, alt -folk, country and rootsi blues.
